Being a golf journalist isn't always all sunshine and roses out on the fairways, as David Feherty found out during a visit to a school in Dallas.
David Feherty is an entertainer, as a commentator and golf writer he is controversial and funny in his own unusual way.
But he got a little bit more than he bargained for during a recent visit to J. Erik Jonsson Community School in Dallas.
Feherty met with students to talk about life and golf and the lessons the game can teach you. After the talk, Feherty donned a protective suit and helmet and let some of the kids hit golf balls at him, one of which became an incredibly sensitive topic.
