World No 1 Lee Westwood lost his cool and reacted angrily during the first round of the Ballentine's Championship after some spectators put him off.
The event is being hosted in the golf-mad country of Korea and the fans were all eager to get a glimpse of Westwood after the Englishman retook the world No 1 ranking earlier in the week. He was being followed by a huge crowd of very excitable spectators.
He was going decently at three under after 15 holes but the wheels came off after that, thanks to some intervention from the crowd.
It started on the 16th where an amateur photographer forced Westwood to pull out of a shot and he ended up bogeying the hole.
And then at the 18th Westwood blamed a camera click for disrupting a 15-foot bogey putt, which he missed as well.
After the second incident Westwood snapped at the crowd
After dropping three shots in his last three holes he will start the second round six shots adrift of first-round leader Damien McGrane.
Despite the disappointment, the Englishman remains upbeat, just not with the crowd.
"I'm still in contention," he said.
"On the first 15 holes I played very nicely and gave myself a lot of chances without really making any putts."
