Martin Kaymer continued his dream season by adding the KLM Open to his already very impressive record.
The German shot a final-round 66 to to finish the tournament on 14 under, four shots ahead of the nearest competitor.
The ever efficient Kaymer managed 17 greens in regulation, meaning the rest of the field would have had to pull off something special to keep up with him. No one could get close.
“I felt very strong and I was very patient,” said Kaymer.
“The Majors are the biggest tournaments we play all year and if you win one of those it gives you probably the biggest confidence you can get.
“It was my goal to play well here, but I was not expecting to win again. It’s a nice feeling.”
South African Louis Oosthuizen did well to finish in a tie for third on 9 under.
