Anthony Kim secured his spot in the final of the Volvo World Matchplay Championship by crushing Robert Allenby 5&4. Yes, the same guy who said Kim had been out drinking the night before he notched up that win against Allenby in The Presidents Cup.

The journey for Ross Fisher was not quite so easy. It took him all of 39 holes to defeat the current Masters Champion, Angel Cabrera, in the second semi-final. Bear in mind that Fisher was, at one stage, 2 up with eight hole left to play…

Both players must be eager to add their names to the coveted trophy, alongside the likes of Ernie Els, Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman and Sir Nick Faldo.
