The International team must be rueing the losses of two matches in particular on Saturday at the Presidents Cup. The suspects in question; Mike Weir paired with Tim Clark and Robert Allenby paired with Vijay Singh. Both were at 2 up during the back nine but, failed to secure a win.
The Mole feels rather sorry for the pairing of Geoff Ogilvy and Ryo Ishikawa; they lost 6&4 to Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker. Sure, Woods and Stricker are a tough pairing to beat, but Ogilvy fell foul of a marshal who didn’t know how to switch off his cell phone, something the Mole finds hard to believe. To add to his woes, a fan decided to shout at him as well.
