If you don't believe us, watch the video...
A while ago a group of Tiger fans posted a YouTube video showing Woods hitting a ball while walking on water, the result of a ‘glitch’ in the EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2008 video game. The new video, shown here, is a response from EA sports marketing its new 2009 video game. Pretty clever marketing gimmick methinks. Does he break any rules playing the shot? Rules of Golf: According to Rule 13-4, the player must not "touch the ground in the hazard or water in the water hazard with his hand or a club." Tiger dips his club in the water, clearly violating this rule. The penalty is two strokes in stroke play or loss of hole in match play. Even with the two-stroke penalty, Tiger probably made par here... a tough one.

Who would He ask to caddy?
Mathew, Mark, Luke, John...probably not Judas.

Re: Oh no Tiger!
I find it very dificult to believe someone can be offended by such. I sincerely hope you were joking.

Come on...
Dude... I doubt it was their intention to be blasphemous. Get off your high horse and see it for the humour that it is intended. They are mearly stating that Tiger is the Chuck Norris/Vernon Koeko**** of golf. HE CAN DO ANYTHINNG.Great maketing on their behalf

This is pathetic...
This is where you miss the point. The point is being drawn between the glitch in the game and the fact that he can "actually" do it in real life. If you choose to see it as a comparison between Jesus Christ and Tiger then so be it. It's a pity you have to be so defensive about your religion... it's really a cool video and all done in good taste.

Go Tiger
That's silly, Mohammed doesn't even play golf

For the record
Look guys, clearly there is a comparison being drawn between Tiger Woods and the only person known to have walked on water, Jesus Christ. If you think I am overreacting, compare Mr Woods to the prophet Mohammed and see what happens then....

Oh please....
Golfer for God. I don't see how this video is grossly irreverent toward what is held to be sacred. If you would care to elaborate? Maybe back up what you have to say? This is a golf blog...

Blasphemous!? Please...
Golfer for God is missing the point... The video is about a glitch in a video game, not about religion. I would never have even made the connection to Christianity unless someone pointed it out. Get with the programme!

Whatever
Get over it Golfer for God. It's a bit of fun being poked at the video game - there's no blasphemy there.
