The Mole would like to extend a special welcome to Spanish supermodel Ines Sastre, gorgeous tour pros Sandra Gal and Henrietta Zuel and the equally tidy BBC presenter Sarah Stirk – all of whom will be taking part in the GPI from 27 to 29 November this year – and adding some serious sex appeal!

But back to the pretty ‘laydez’… Sastre is no stranger to the event, having played for the past few years, and she can call herself defending champion in the team competition too, having teamed up with Retief Goosen and pals to win last year.

Of the pros, German Sandra Gal has sent many a pulse racing from the pages of glossy magazines, but the truth is that the LPGA Tour player has got some serious game. So there’s two reasons to line the fairway when Ms Gal is teeing off.

Zuel, who hails from Bath in England, plays on the LET and finished tie-third in the Wales Ladies Championship, while Stirk is a presenter on Setanta Sports Golf and plays off an impressive handicap of six. Nice!

If that’s not enough to get you to Fancourt, then perhaps a little persuasion in the form of the world’s greatest batsman Brian Lara will do the trick. Rumour has it the great leftie will be joining the pros, businesspeople and celebrities on The Links later this month. The Mole wonders if he is any good at golf. Probably a silly question that.
