The Mole had a little chuckle when he read this one. With the endless lawsuit between Titleist and Callaway continuing, Titleist must be desperately looking for a suitable successor to the immensely successful Pro V1.
This patent application from Titleist sees a radically different take to the dimpled ball that we are all used to, but is it the future of the golf ball? Most probably not. But, it’s interesting to see that there are some
mad scientists, behind the scenes in the R&D departments of the big manufacturers, seeking different ways to make our lives on the course a little easier.
If it does become the Pro V2, remember the Mole told you first. However, for now, you can be perfectly content with your Pro V1, the TP Red or the Z Star.
