Answer:
I have a theory of why Trevor has not won recently. We can discuss this at length but I will try to keep it short and simple.
A person's diaphragm is vital in terms of performance.the diaphragm is a muscular system that helps us breath, but it also has other uses which does sound strange. If you breath properly with your diaphragm you are able to control other functions in the body. This is the reason why we practice breathing in yoga. Proper breathing with your diphragm allows one to control anxiety and quiten the mind, whilst at the same time increasing mental awareness.
Now the fact that Trevor had an operation to remove a benign tumour near his diaphragm , forced him to focus on diaphragmatic breathing during his recuperation.
This occurred befor his Masters.
So my theory is that ,by the time he played the Masters, his diphragm was functioning optimally which would have helped his anxiety for such an event.
His brain would have been more settled and this would have allowed him to play golf to his true potential.
Now I could go into the really deep stuff on this theory but that is a whole story on its own.
Thus, if I were Trevor, I would go back to training my diaphragm to work optimally.
There are some techniques to switch on diaphragmatic breathing, but we will chat about that at a later date.
