Question:
I HAVE WHAT MY DOCTOR CALLS A GOLF ELBOW - SWELLING AND PAIN ON THE INSIDE OF ARM AT ELBOW. IT'S BASICALLY THE OPPOSITE WHAT WOULD BE TENNIS ELBOW AND I AM CURRENTLY GOING TO THERAPY. ANY IDEAS FOR A IMPROVING ON THE PROBLEM? THANKS BOB

Answer:
Dear Golfer It does sounds as if you have golfer's elbow. The problem normally occurs when the Elbow is excessively strained during you downswing. This reason for this is normally the result of one of your back muscle called the Lattismus Dorsi not functioning properly in the downswing. The elbow has to compensate for this and becomes over strained. There is a technique called muscle activation that will switch on!!! This muscle and thus take the strain off the elbow and thus remove the original cause. We have just made a DVD that illustrates this cutting edge technique for the whole body.It is currently been used by many top golfers locally and internationally. If you are interested please let me know and I will arrange to have a DVD shipped to you. There are also supplements that can also help prevent the injury and improve recovery. The products that I have used extensively for golfers and top sports persons are 1. Winomega 3 - Omega 3 oils. 2. Stephan Flexibility- cellular therapy Info on the products can be found on the website www.mywinwebpage.com/zoiwellness Regards Costa

Golfers Elbow
I used to be very sceptical but I find a copper bracelet with a magnet at each end works but I can't say why. Try the golf shops.

Golfers elbow
What about pain in the muscle of the forearm when gripping the club? No pain in the joint at all.Is this also a form of golfer's elbow, or something else? And how to treat it?
