It has been nearly a decade since Ben Curtis lifted the Claret Jug in victory, and six years since his last PGA Tour victory, but the 2003 Open champion had reason to choke back tears yesterday when he sunk his birdie putt on the final green to win the Valero Texas Open by two shots.
Curtis has been a loyal Titleist staff professional since turning professional in 2002 and has worked his way through the generations of golf clubs Titleist has launched with good success. Last week in particular was a great one for Curtis who led the field in driving accuracy, greens in regulation and putting, showing that he trusts every piece of his equipment to do the best for him where necessary.
Below is a list of the golf clubs Curtis used to win the Valero Texas Open.
