It seems that time of the year has come when golf equipment manufacturers start to release their prototype golf clubs to the tours, and this time I have managed to find the new Titleist 913 Prototype drivers that will tee it up in the AT&T National at Congressional this weekend.
Titleist has continued with its 900 line of drivers with the 913 being the name for the 2013 range of woods. No information has yet been released on the new technology of the drivers, but from looking at the images you can clearly see some cosmetic upgrades and it looks like the popular SureFit Tour Hosel system is here to stay. This is great as it offers more customisation without having to change drivers continuously and allows you to switch shafts regularly.
Having owned the Titleist 910D2 driver previously, I cannot wait to give the new 913 drivers a try and am excited to see what the range of stock shafts will be.
Keep checking our website for more information on the Titleist 913 Woods including retail launch date and prices, otherwise watch Rory McIlroy take the new driver for a test drive this week at the Irish Open being played at Royal Portrush.
