Na’ that’s how you win

Kevin Na's winning clubs

American Kevin Na picked up his first PGA Tour victory at the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open. The win ended a 210 event winless streak.

He held off fellow American Nick Watney with a strong putting display that included a 43-foot putt to birdie the par-three 17th.

Here’s what he had in his bag:

Titleist driver

The big stick

Kevin pulls out a Titleist 910 D3 9.5° driver fitted with a Matrix Ozik HD6 shaft. The mid trajectory ball flight provides the perfect balance between carry and roll.

Titleist fairway woods

Bailout clubs

He plays with two fairway woods and could chose either of them to bail him out when his driver is wayward: his 13.5° Titleist 910F is fitted with a Matrix Ozik Code 7 shaft and his 17° is fitted with a Mitsubishi Diamana Blue 73 shaft. The different shafts allow him freedom to manipulate the ball at will.

Titleist hybrid

Using technology

We all know of the impact a hybrid club has made in improving the Sunday golfer’s game and the professionals are also making good use of them. Na uses Titleist’s 910H 21° hybrid fitted with a Matrix Ozik Altus shaft.

Titleist irons

GIR finders

As with most Titleist sponsored players, Na also uses their AP2 710 irons (4-PW) which he has fitted with True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts. These irons have been the hottest irons on tour this year, racking up numerous wins for the Titleist pros and loyalists.

Titleist wedges

Wedging it close

Na uses the Vokey designed Titleist 54° and 60° wedges, both fitted with the same shafts he uses in his irons, the True Temper Dynamic Gold S400 shafts. The use of the same shafts gives a consistent feel and cements confidence in his head by being able to chip it close.

Scotty Cameron putter

Beem me in Scotty

The hottest club in his bag was definitely his Scotty Cameron Concept 1 prototype putter. Needing to sink putts to take the outright lead, Na birdied the 15th and 16th before sinking a mammoth 43-foot putt to birdie the par-three 17th.

Titleist golf ball

The number one ball in all of golf

Na used Titleist’s most successful ball, the Pro V1x, for his breakthrough victory. The preferred choice of amateurs and professionals throughout the world, this ball stands head and shoulders above any other as the most liked ball in all of golf.

These clubs are aimed at the more advanced player and after having tested them, found them to be easy to hit and the working the ball felt second nature. If you are a seriously good golfer, I would definitely recommend these clubs
