Luxurious Leather golf shoes

The Mole recently received a pair of the latest top of the range golf shoes from adidas, the adiPURE Z’s. Having been through the previous generations of adidas TOUR360’s, it was quite a treat for an upgrade to the leather version, and what a difference it made.

Top of the range technology and quality

Obviously being the top of the range shoe, they come with all of the technology for better turf interaction (THINTECH), power (POWERBAND Chassis) and waterproofing (ClimaProof) ensuring you get the best performance possible out of them. Did I also mention they come with a two-year waterproof warranty, something that you don’t find very easily anymore these days.

But again, the biggest draw card for these shoes is the premium hand-finished leather, which softens over time (they may require a bit of wearing in depending on how sensitive your feet are) and makes them more and more comfortable every time you put them on.

This is definitely a factor that should be seriously considered especially when you are playing in soft conditions as this allows more natural movement in your feet and even helps fight foot fatigue towards the end of your round.

The adiPURE Z’s are available in all-black, all-white or all-brown with the patented three-stripes ingrained into the leather on the sides making them perfect for wearing with longs in winter or with the more traditional plus-fours should you be so fortunate to own a pair.

A pair of these spectacular shoes costs R2 399 but are every bit worth it especially if you are a regular player who enjoys walking the course. Just ask Dustin Johnson or Justin Rose.
