The popular iPING app for Apple iPhone and iPod has just been upgraded and now features a new great way to play skins against your friends and fellow golfers.
A few months ago, Ping launched a revolutionary new golf training system, specifically for putting, known as iPING. The launch was in conjunction with the new PING Anser putters, and the app was meant to help you get properly fitted for one of the seven different putter styles, as well as help you improve your putting by means of giving you information on your own stroke.
The app has just been upgraded and now features a smart new system called iPING Skins Game, which offers a base for you to record your scores and play skins with either your fourball or your friends around the world.
Anyone with the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S or the iPod (4th generation) can download the app from www.ping.com and purchase a cradle from one of the major golf retail stores for R300.
